Jessica Kalina
Lead Photographer
I've worn many hats in my career. I hold my B.F.A. in Interior Design and have been featured in numerous publications as well as H.G.T.V.'s Designer Portfolio television series. When I became a mom, I knew I wanted to work with children, and that's when I received my M. Ed. and began my journey as a middle school teacher. It was around that same time I first picked up a camera, and for the last 18 years photography has been my premier passion and creative outlet. I love how photographing bar and bat mitzvahs keeps me connected to my community, and I am a known crier during a Horah.
A native Chicagoan, in 2018 I relocated to the Atlanta-area with my family and have loved every moment of living in the South. When I'm not working, you can find me cooking Italian cuisine, reading historical nonfiction, traveling, watching my son play hockey, doting on our three dogs and one cat, sleeping, and my favorite: being a mom.

My journey behind the lens began at age 12 when my father handed me a 35mm Canon camera. A year later, I was developing film in a darkroom—an experience that taught me patience, precision, and the art of storytelling through light and shadow. Today, I bring that same intentionality to every frame I capture.
With a specialty in sports, portraiture, and high-end events, I’ve had the privilege of photographing elite organizations such as the NFL’s Atlanta Falcons, the WNBA’s Atlanta Dream, Georgia Tech Athletics, Clemson University Athletics, and the University of South Carolina’s women’s basketball program.
Whether I'm on the sidelines of a championship game or capturing a private portrait session, my approach remains the same: timeless, editorial-quality imagery that reflects both authenticity and excellence. My name is Antonio, and I am originally from Brazil. I work as Mrs. Kalina's (she was my 7th grade teacher) assistant photographer, supporting her at bar mitzvahs and various events. I love working with kids and know how to get their personalities to shine in front of the camera. My long-term goal is to work on diverse fashion shoots and rising football talent as they transition from high school to college. After high school, I also plan on pursuing a career in the trades. Outside of work, I enjoy playing soccer and reading.
